RINGKASAN BIOLOGI

SEL

1)      Sel = satuan / unit kehidupan terkecil dari makhluk hidup.

unit structural / fungsional terkecil (penyusun yg   mendasar) pada makhluk hidup dan tempat terselenggaranya fungsi kehidupan

2)      Makhluk hidup yang hanya tersusun oleh 1 sel = uniseluler

Cont : Bakteri, dll

3)      Makhluk hidup yang tersusun oleh banyak sel = multiseluler

Cont : Manusia, hewan, tumbuhan

4)      Sel pertama kali  ditemukan oleh Robert Hooke pd tahun 1665.

5)      Robert Hooke menemukan sel saat mengamati penampang melintang sayatan tipis gabus dari batang tumbuhan di bawah mikroskop, dia melihat rongga kosong segi6 yg mirip kamar sehingga ia menamakannya sel

6)      Karena Robert Hooke melihat rongga kosong yg mirip kamar, maka asal dari kata sel adalah cellula (kamar)

7)      Teori sel dibangun oleh 2 ahli biologi dari Jerman yg bernama Mathias J.Schleiden dan Theodor Schwann pd tahun 1838

8)      Isi dari teori Sel : Semua makhluk hidup tersusun dari sel.

9)      Mereka juga membuktikan bahwa sel hidup bukanlah kamar kosong , melainkan berisi cairan sitoplasma yang mendukung segala aktivitas dasar makhluk hidup.

10)  Fungsi – fungsi dari sel :

-          Respirasi, ekskresi, transportasi, sintesis, reproduksi, sekresi, dan respon (tanggapan) terhadap rangsangan

-          Unit hereditas / pewaris yg menurunkan sifat genetic dari satu generasi kpd generasi berikutnya.

11)  Sel tersusun dari 2 lapis membran fosfolipid yg bersifat selektif permeable (hanya molekul tertentu yang dpt masuk & keluar sel)

12)  Umumnya sel berdiameter 1-100 mm dan bervolume 1-1000 mm3

13)  Jika volume sel bertambah, luas permukaannya juga bertambah

14)  Volume sel menentukan banyaknya aktivitas kimia yg dpt dilakukan satu per unit waktu

15)  Luas permukaan sel menentukan banyaknya substansi yg dpt masuk dan keluar dari sel dan banyaknya zat sisa yg dikeluarkan sel.

16)  Sel berukuran kecil karena jika berukuran kecil berarti ukuran volumenya yg kecil, dan jika ukuran volumenya yg kecil, maka luas permukaannya besar, semakin kecil volumenya semakin besar luas permukaan, sel2 memiliki volume kecil dgn tujuan mempertahankan rasio yg besar dari luas permukaan terhadap volume.

17)  Struktur sel dpt dilihat dgn alat Bantu yaitu mikroskop

18)  Mikroskop dibedakan menjadi :

-          Mikroskop Cahaya = utk melihat sel dgn perbesaran 2000 kali

-          Mikroskop Elektron = utk melihat sel dgn perbesaran smp 500.000 kali

19)   Mikroskop electron ada 2 :

-          SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) = melihat permukaan objek

-          TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) = melihat benda irisan ultramikro sehingga isi sel terlihat sgt rinci

20)  Fungsi fisiologis sel dpt dipelajari secara :

-          In vitro = di laboratorium, cont : isolasi protein & DNA

-          In vivo = dalam tubuh makhluk hidup, cont : histokimia, radioisotope

21)  Sel ada 2 tipe :

-          Sel Prokariotik

-          Sel Eukariotik

22)  Sel prokariotik = sel tanpa membran inti, DNA nya tidak dibungkus membran inti, sebagian memiliki dinding sel

23)  DNA nya berbentuk sirkuler dan disebut nukleoid, ada juga DNA silkuler yg lebih kecil di luar nukleoid disebut plasmid

24)  Aktifitas selnya terjadi pd membran plasma dan did lm sitoplasma. Cont : Cyanobacteria dan sel bakteri

25)  Sel eukariotik = sel yg memiliki membrane inti shg terjadi pemisahan antara inti sel dan sitoplasma

26)  Kesatuan inti sel dan sitoplasma pd sel eukariotik disebut protoplasma.

27)  Sel eukariotik lebih besar dari prokariotik , contohnya : sel hewan dan tumbuhan

28)  Persamaan dari sel tumbuhan dan sel hewan adalah memiliki membran plasma, inti sel, sitoplasma, sitoskeleton, ribosom, reticulum endoplasma, badan golgi/apparatus golgi, lisosom, peroksisom, dan mitokondria

29)  Membran plasma = batas kehidupan (memisahkan sel yg hidup dgn lingkungan sekitarnya yg tak hidup), bagian luar sel yg melindungi isi sel, tebalnya 8mm

30)  Ciri-ciri membran sel : struktur seperti lembaran tipis, terdiri dari 2 lap fosfolipid yg tersusun atas lipoprotein, membentuk suatu lapisan yg bersifat dinamis krn memiliki struktur spt fluida (cair) shg molekul lipid dan protein dpt bergerak dan asimetri krn komposisi protein dan lipid sisi luar tdk sm dgn sisi dalam membran sel dan bersifat semipermeable (hny dpt dilalui zat tertentu).

31)  1 unit fosfolipid terdiri dari :

-          kepala (fosfat) = sisi hidrofilik (suka air)

= menghadap ke luar membran plasma

-          ekor (asam lemak) = sisi hidrofobik (tdk suka air)

= bersembunyi dlm membran plasma

32)  Terdapat 2 macam protein membrane yaitu

-          Integral = protein yg memiliki bag hidrofibik shg dpt melakukan penetrasi ke dlm 2 lapis fosfolipid dan juga memiliki bag hidrofilik yg menonjol ke luar pd kedua permukaan membran

-          Periferal = protein yg tdk tertanam dlm membran fosfolipid tp terikat bebas di permukaan membran plasma / pada protein integral

33)  Fungsi umum membran plasma : mengatur keluar masuknya zat dari dan ke dalam sel.

34)  Molekul-molekul penyusun membaran plasma : lipid, protein, dan karbohidrat

35)  Fungsi lipid : menstabilkan kesatuan fisik membran plasma shg dpt menjadi penghalang yg efektif bg lalu lintas materi hidrofilik (air&Ion)

36)  Fungsi 2 lapis fosfolipid dlm membran sel : tempat melekatnya protein & utk membantu proses fusi vesikel dan endositosis

37)  Fungsi protein :

-          Sbg enzim biokatalisor yg mempercepat laju reaksi biokimia

-          Enzim yg berperan dlm transport electron guna pembentukkan ATP (adenosin trifosfat) sbg sumber energi.

-          Saluran tempaat lewatnya berbagai meteri pada membra plasma

38)  Karbohidrat yg berikatan dgn lipid = glikolipid

Karbohidrat yg berikatan dgn protein = glikoprotein

39)  Fungsi glikolipid : sbg sinyal pengenal utk interaksi antar sel

40)  Fungsi glikoprotein : utk mengikat protein dari membran sel tetangga dan sel lain shg terjadi ikatan antarsel

41)  Substansi yg melewati membran plasma dpt ditranspor secara transport aktif maupun pasif

42)  Transpor pasif = transport ion, molekul, dan senyawa yang tidak memerlukan energi untuk melewati membrane plasma.

43)  Transpor pasif ada 2 yaitu osmosis dan difusi

44)  Osmosis = perpindahan pelarut melalui membrane selektif permeable dari konsentrasi pelarut yg tinggi (hipotoniK) menuju konsentrasi pelarut yg rendah (hipertonik)

45)  Osmosis pd hewan membuat sel hewan mudah rusak krn masuknya air ke dlm sel tdk melalui dinding sel (hewan tdk memiliki dinding seL)

46)  Hemolisis = keadaan dmn sel hewan pecah karena keadaan hipotonik

47)  Krenasi = keadaan dmn sel hewan mengkerut krn keadaan hipertonik

48)  Sel tumbuhan memiliki dinding selulosa yg dpt mempertahankan sel agar tdk pecah

49)  Turgid = Keadaan sel tumb yg terus membengkak tpi tdk pecah saat hipotonik

50)  Plasmolisis = Keadaan dmn saat hipertonik menyebabkan keluarnya air dari vakuola pd sel tumb dan membuat sitoplasma mengkerut dan membran plasma terlepas dr dinding sel

51)  Difusi = Proses pergerakan acak partikel2 gas, cairan, larutan dari konsentrasi tinggi ke konsentrasi lebih rendah hingga mencapai tahap keseimbangan

52)  Difusi dibedakan menjadi :

-          Difusi dipermudah saluran protein (integral)

-          Difusi dipermudah protein pembawa

53)  Transpor aktif = transport ion/molekul yg memerlukan energi dan juga memerlukan protein membrane yg berperan sbg pembawa untuk melewati membrane dari konsentrasi rendah ke konsentrasi tinggi

54)  Transpor aktif ada 3 tipe :

-          Pompa ion

-          Kotranspor

-          Endositosis dan eksositosis

55)  Pompa ion = transport ion melewati membrane plasma yg melawan gradient konsentrasi

56)  Potensial membran = perbedaan energi potensial listrik antara sitoplasma dan lingkungan sekitarnya

57)  Kotranspor = transport suatu zat yg mengaktifkan trasnppor zat lain melewati membran plasma

58)  Endositosis = transport makromolekul spt protein ,polisakarida, asam nukleat dgn membentuk lipatan membrane plasma membentuk vesikel

59)  Eksositosis = transport makromolekul spt protein ,polisakarida, asam nukleat dgn membentuk lipatan membrane plasma dmn vesikel bergabung dgn merman plasma dan mengeluarkan makromolekul dr dalam vesikel

60)  Inti sel (nucleus) = bagian sel yg paling mencolok di antara organel2 di dalam sel.

61)  Inti sel umumnya berbentuk bulat/lonjong dan terletak di tengah sel

62)  Pada eukariotik, inti sel nya memiliki membrane inti

63)  Membran inti berguna untuk pertukaran materi antara nukleoplasma dgn sitoplasma

64)  Di dalam inti sel terdapat plasma yg disebut nukleoplasma

65)  Dalam nukleoplasma terdapat nucleolus (anak inti) dan kromosom

66)  Nukleolus merupakan tempat pembentukan dan pematangan RNA ribosomal

67)  Kromosom hanya terlihat jelas saat sel membelah , saat tidak membelah, hanya benang-benang kromatin yg terlihat

68)  Kromosom mengandung gen yg berperan sbg pembawa sifat yg dpt diturunkan

69)  Fungsi inti sel :

-          Mengendalikan proses berlangsungnya metabolisme di dlm sel

-          Menyimpan informasi genetic dlm bentuk DNA

-          Mengatur kapan dan dimana ekspresi gen2 harus dimulai, dijalankan, dan diakhiri

-          Tempat terjadinya replikasi (perbanyakan DNA) dan transkripsi (pengutipan DNA)

-          Mengatur pembelahan sel dan perkembangan sel

70)  Sitoplasma = cairan kental (plasma) yg berada di antara membrane sel dan inti sel

71)  Di dlm sitoplasma terdapat vakuola (rongga sel) dan organel-organel sel (badan sel)

72)  Vakuola pd sel tumb lebi besar drpd pd sel hewan

73)  Semakin tua umur sel, semakin besar vakuolanya

74)  Pada hewan uniseluler (paramecium) terdpt vakuola kecil yg disebut vakuola berdenyut dan vakuola makanan

75)  Vakuola berdenyut utk alat pengeluaran

Vakuola makanan utk tmpt masuknya makanan

76)  Sitoplasma tersusun dari sitosol yg bersifat koloid, sitoskeleton, dan organel-organel.

77)  Sitoskeleton = rangka sel yg terdpt pd sitosol berupa jaringan protein filament yg menyokong stabilitas bentuk sel

78)  Protein filament itu terdiri dari mikrofilamen, filament tengah dan mikrotubulus

79)  Fungsi mikrotubulus : berfungsi sbg rangka sel

80)  Fungsi mikro filament :

81)  Fungsi sitoskeleton :

-          sbg rangka sel,

-          sbg pengatur gerakan sel

-          sbg pengatur gerakan kromosom ke arah kutub pd saat sel membelah secara mitosis maupun meiosis

82)  Organel-organel sel yg terdapat dlm sitoplasma : ribosom, reticulum endoplasma, badan golgi, dan mitokondria, lisosom, peroksisom.

83)  Ribosom = butiran kecil nucleoprotein yg disusun oleh protein dan RNA ribosomal

84)  Ribosom terdapat pd sitoplasma dan ada juga pd reticulum endoplasma

85)  Fungsi ribosom = tempat sintesis (pembentukan) protein

86)  Retikulum endoplasma = tersusun dari kantunf pipih dan tabung dua lapis membrane yg meluas dan menutupi sebagian besar sitoplasma

87)  Ada 2 macam RE :

-          RE kasar (bergranula) = memiliki bintik2 (ribosom) pd permukaannya

Fungsi : sbg tempat sintesis protein .

-          RE halus (tdk bergranula) = tdk memiliki bintik2

(ribosom) pd permukaannya

Fungsi : tempat sintesis lipid, metabolisme karbohidrat, dan detoksifikasi obat-obatan.

88)  Fungsi RE : tempat pembentukan lemak dan menghubungkan inti sel dan sitoplasma

89)  Badan golgi = kantung pipih bertumpuk yg tersusun dr ukuran besar hingga ukuran kecil dan terikat membrane

90)  Fungsi badan golgi = memproses protein & molekul lain yg akan dibawa ke luar sel / membran sel (alat pengeluaran)

91)  Proses yg terjadi dlm badan golgi = glikosilasi / penambahan oligosakarida pada protein = modifikasi protein setelah sintesis protein selesai utk penanda protein ekstraseluler

92)  Badan golgi terdapat pd sel-sel sekretori yaitu :

-          Sel2 kelenjar pencernaan yg mengeluarkan enzim2 pencernaan

-          Sel2 kelenjar pancreas yg mengeluarkan lipase dan tripsin

-          Kelenjar air ludah yang mengeluarkan air liur yg mengandung amylase

-          Kelenjar air mata yg mengeluarkan protein (antibody)

93)  Lisosom = vesikel membran berkantung yg mengandung enzim2 hidrolitik yg bekerja pd kondisi asam yg terbentuk dr pertunasan vesikel badan golgi

94)  Fungsi lisosom = mencerna makromolekul secara intraseluler dan merusak sel-sel asing

95)  Enzim-enzim yg terdpt dlm lisosom :

-          Nuklease utk menghidrolisis DNA dan RNA

-          Protease utk menghidrolisis protein

-          Lipase utk menghidrolisis lipid

-          Fosfatase utk menghidrolisis oligonukleotida

-          Enzim lain utk menghidrolisis karbohidrat polisakarida serta oligosakarida

96)  Peroksisom = berisi enzim oksidatif, dan katalase

97)  Fungsi enzim oksidatif = menstransfer hydrogen dr bbg substrat ke oksigen yg menghasilkan produk sampingan berupa hydrogen peroksida

98)  Fungsi enzim katalase = mengubah hydrogen peroksida menjadi air dan oksigen

99)  Mitokondria terdiri dr :

-          Membran luar = pembatas antara bagian dlm mitokondria dan sitoplasma

-          Membran dlm yg berlekuk2 disebut Krista

= utk memperluas permukaan, melangsungkan rantai respirasi

-          Matriks mitokondria = utk oksidasi asam lemak dan katabolisme asetil koenzim

103)    Metabolit sekunder = senyawa kimia yg tdk diperlukan oleh sel itu sendiri

104)    Plastida terdiri dari kloroplas , kromoplas, leukoplas

105)    Kloroplas = organel yg mengandung klorofil

106)    Struktur kloroplas terdiri dari :

-          Membran luar = melewatkan molekul2 berukuran kurang dr 12 kitodalton tanpa selektivitas

-          Membran dalam = memilih molekul yg keluar masuk dgn transport aktif (bersifat selektif permeable)

-          Stroma = cairan kloroplas yg berguna utk menyimpan hasil fotosintesis dlm bntk pati

-          Tilakoid = tempat terjadinya fotosintesis

107)    Kromoplas = plastida yg berwarna kuning jingga dan merah krn mengandung karoten

108)    Leukoplas = plastida yg tdk berwarna utk menyimpan cad makan

109)    Sentriol = sepasang struktur silinder yg mmiliki lbang di tengah dan tersusun dr protein mikrotubulus yg membentuk benang spindle utk mengatur polaritas pembelahan sel hewan dan mengatur pemisahan kromosom selama pembelahan selama pembelahan sel
